Hi there, welcome back! We are very pleased to announce that our roadside clean-up will be on April 22, 2017 this spring, and that once again, we will be collecting scrap metal and electronics. If you would like to volunteer to help, we will convene at the Board of Trade office located on South Street at 9:00 am, and if you have any scrap metal or e-waste, it can be left in the bin beside Toman Plumbing, located on Bridge St.
If you have never participated in this event, please come on out and meet the neighbours! If you have participated before, you’ll know it’s good exercise, and a lot of fun.
We have a rain date as well, that would be the following Saturday, April 29, at the same time.
Hope to see you there!
You may have noticed the Canadian flags through the village that have now been replaced by the Christmas lights. We plan to have the flags up each year from Victoria day until just past the 1st of July, and then again for the month of November for our Remembrance day services.
