Wilmot Horticulture Society is have a Garden Explosion on Saturday March 17 from 9:00-3:15 at the New Dundee Community Center. Speakers include Dan Cooper, Tara Nolan, Brenda Campbell and Thelma Kessel. There will also be a Merchant Market, Silent Auction and Door Prizes. Registration is $40 ($45 after March 12) and includes lunch.

Our Pancake Breakfast is held on the 3rd Sunday in March every year. It is a very popular event, so be sure to attend.
The breakfast features all you can eat pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, apple sauce, and juice. Coffee and tea are also provided. And as always, real maple syrup!

The Community Christmas Party will be held at the community center on Friday December 15th at 6pm. All are welcome!
In order to get a final number for dinner,it helps if you pre-purchase your tickets. Tickets are $35 per person (includes “surf and turf” dinner and entertainment) and are available from Mark Schwartzentruber at 519-897-3329.
Our Christmas parade will be held on Sunday December 17th at 12:30. Free hot chocolate will once again be served at 3 locations (In front of the school, corner of Main and Bechtel, and near the Emporium). Please bring your own mugs. After the parade the Optimists will be hosting their children’s Christmas party at the community center.
Our annual Remembrance Day ceremonies will be held on Saturday November 4th. We hold it a week earlier than the 11th each year to so that our local dignitaries are able to attend.
Start will be in the school parking lot at 10:30am, and we’ll walk down to the park for the wreath laying ceremony.

Our annual Volunteer Appreciation Night will be held November 7, starting at 6pm in the community center. The Women’s institute will be serving dinner, and Bob Heywood will be the evening’s entertainment.
ND Board of Trade will be doing our semi-annual roadside cleanup this Saturday. Meet at the Board of Trade office to have a route assigned. Coffee afterwards at The Emporium.
Community Care Concepts is hosting their Fall Family Fun Night at the community center. Free chili dinner (and fun) served between 5-7pm Thursday October 19th.
The Community Harvest Dinner will be held Sat Oct 14 at the New Dundee Community center. Roast beef and all the trimmings will be served! There will be two seatings, one at 5:00 and one at 6:00. For tickets ($20) please contact Kelly at 519-574-2618. Funds raised go to support the youth ministries.
