Victoria Day Weekend Lineup

Sunday, May 19 from 5pm to dusk
Location: New Dundee Community Centre 

Join us for an evening of fun for the whole family with a BBQ, BeaverTails and Serial Food Griller food trucks, rides for all ages, live bands – Doug Clayfield, The Magnetic Revelators, KW Collective and Sonic Sea that will continue after the fireworks, henna, glitter and airbrush tattoos, a beer garden from 5pm – 11pm, the FIREWORK show at dusk and more! 

Monday, May 20 Starting early with community run garage sales & 9am vendors until 4pm
Location: New Dundee Community Park


Bring your family back for lots of activities planned starting early with community run garage sales, breakfast and BeaverTails, Serial Food Griller and Fo’Cheezy food trucks, vendors at 9am, live bands – Gemstone Entertainment, Those Guys and Sonic Sea, beer garden from 11am – 4pm, silent auction, rides for all ages, Wilmot Key Quest $5,000 winner announcement at 12pm and the Parade at 1:30pm!

This event is open to all with free admission, we are excited to have many families back again to make great memories on the long weekend! There are lots of ways to get involved:

Roadside Cleanup

This event is usually held twice a year, once in the Spring and again in the Fall. Volunteers are welcome, and we usually meet for coffee and baked treats after the clean-up.

This spring we will be holding our usual roadside cleanup the morning of April 29, 2023. Please meet at the New Dundee Board of Trade office at 31 South Street at 9:00 am. All welcome. (kids must be with a parent)

Covid19 Vaccination Clinic – January 25, 2022

There will be a Covid19 Vaccination Clinic at the New Dundee Community Centre on Tuesday January 25, 2022, from 10:00AM – 8:00PM.

Appointments will be required and can be booked by calling Maureen at 519-577-3548 or through email at mekropf@golden.net.

A small number of walk-in spots may be available near the end of the day, but are not guaranteed. Ensure you spot by booking an appointment.

Hosted by Steelgate Farms, Dundee Electronic Recycling and Dundee Recycling. With supported from The Township of Wilmot in conjunction with the Region of Waterloo. As employees of one of the host companies, you and your families are invited to attend the clinic to receive your vaccinations.

First and second shots for ages 12 and up. First, second and booster shots available for ages 18 and up. Pediatric vaccines for ages (5-11) will also be available.

All Region of Waterloo Public Health protocols will be followed.

August Update

Hello, I hope everyone is having the best summer they can have, in these strange days.

We, at the Board of Trade had hoped that by now, things would be returning to normal, and in some cases they are almost back. Patio dining, outdoor activities are possible as are gatherings where social distancing is possible.

After much consideration, however, we have decided to cancel our September Fish Fry, and the November Appreciation night.

Covid-19 2020 Updates

Due to the outbreak of Covid-19, the Community Centre is closed until June 30, 2020. All parks and playgrounds are also closed, as residents practice physical distancing at this time.

Please note that all community events are cancelled until June 30/2020. We encourage you to support local businesses.

Call for Volunteers, this Saturday

The Board of Trade is organizing our semi-annual roadside cleanup this Saturday April 27, at 9:00.

If you’d like to help us clean the roads around our town, please meet us at 9:00 at the Board of Trade office on South Street in New Dundee. We’ll get some exercise, walk with friends, and meet back for coffee afterwards.

We will also be collecting metal and e-waste for recycling, and will have a trailer for your items, also located at the Board of Trade office on South Street.
