Every summer, the Board of Trade, the Women’s Institute and the Optimist’s Club organize a musical event in the main park. 

These events are free and drinks and popcorn are available for a nominal fee. The musical styles vary; there is something for everyone’s taste. 

The June event has been cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We have not been given the official word for the July and August dates, please check-in again. this site will be updated.

The New Dundee Women’s institute is sponsoring a concert in the park. The Ayr-Paris Band band will be performing Wed. August 15th at 7pm in the bandshell.

Once again The Board of Trade is hosting Canada Day in the Community Park. We’ll have treats in the covered picnic area and games (croquet and bocce ball) on the lawn. Event runs from 1pm to 3pm. Fancy, large, and outlandish hats are encouraged!

This year’s church in the park will be help Sunday July 29.

The Picnic shelter willhost a child friendly worship service featuring guests Stephen and Tricia Preston from “Funtastical Studios”. Start time is 10AM, wrapup by 1PM following a Potluck lunch.

Wilmot youth action committee is having a free movie night on Friday June 8. Location is Castle Kilbride in Baden. Games and activities starting at 7pm, movies to follow at dusk. Rain date is Friday June 15. Be sure to bring a blanket and a lawn chair!

Concession available with all proceeds going to Wilmot’s Youth Action Council.

Congratulations to Nith Valley Apiaries on reaching the 100 year milestone!

They’ll be holding a honey festival open to the public on July 21st 2018 from 10am to 3pm. Activities will include Honey Sampling, Food Pairings, Observation Hive, Bee School, and lots of kids activities. Located at 1041 Christner Road, New Hamburg. The New Dundee Board of Trade’s spring roadside cleanup will be Saturday April 28th. Volunteers meet at the Board of Trade office at 9am.

For the community, we will again have a drop-off bin for metal and e-waste available on the Saturday and Sunday of that weekend. Exact location to be determined, but it will be located on Bridge street near the bridge – watch for signs.
