The New Dundee Christmas Parade will be held this year on Sunday December 16th. Parade starts at 12:30.

The Optimists Children’s Party will be at the community centre following the parade.
The Optimists Adult Christmas Party will be held at the community centre on Friday December 14.

Our 2018 Remembrance Day ceremony has concluded. Once again we honoured our area citizens who’ve fought and died for the freedoms we and our families enjoy today.
John Scott of the Board of Trade presided over the ceremonies which included local dignitaries and the New Hamburg Legion’s Colour Guard.
Thank you to Bethel Church who allowed us to gather for coffee after the ceremony at the church – particularly welcome given the cold wind today.
Wreaths laid in honour will remain at the Bridge Street entrance to the community park for about one week, and the Canadian Flag will fly on the light poles as well.

On Tuesday November 6th the New Dundee Board of Trade held our annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner. This year we once again showed our appreciation for the many people and organizations who continue to make New Dundee a great place.
Each year we also thank a local business who help make New Dundee what it is. This year’s recipient was Dundee Recycling.
Thanks to the Women’s Institute for once again serving a wonderful meal.
The New Dundee Remembrance Day ceremony is held every year in the Main St. Park. Participants meet at the school at 10:30 and proceed to the park for the ceremony.

Attendance was up almost double our normal numbers – we served 580 meals in a few short hours. And the weather cooperated, allowing many of us to enjoy our cod and chips outside in the sunshine!

ND Public School is celebrating it’s bell revitalization in it’s 90’th year. Come out and join the celebration on Sunday October 10th at 7pm.
New Dundee Board of Trade hosts the annual Fish Fry the third Wednesday of September every year. This is our most popular event and often sells out, so beside to get your tickets in time!
Serving starts at 5:00pm and continues until 7:00pm.
Tickets at the door are $20 for adults (ages 13+), $6 for children ages 6-12, and free for younger. Adult tickets may be pre-purchased for $18 at the Village Market or the Emporium.
Your meal includes battered fish, chips, salads, coffee, and desert.

Sunday September 9th New Dundee Firefighters are hosting an all you can eat breakfast from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Location is Wilmot Fire Station #2 (56 Front St). Adults are $12 and Kids are $5.
The breakfast will be followed at 2:00 by the New Dundee Soap Box Derby on Main St.
